Our Statement of Purpose
"Therefore, go and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit. Teach these new disciples to obey all the commands I have given you. And be sure of this: I am with you always, even to the end of the age." Matthew 28:19-20
CORE Values
•CORE values are threads that underline everything we say and so as a church. CORE values are those non-negotiable principles to which we ought to be accountable to in evaluating our present work and our future plans. CORE values also feed us with the kind of "never-give-up," "keep-on-pressing-ahead" passion for the ministry.
Naturally, because we are a collection of diverse individuals, each of us has slightly different values regarding how we serve Christ. Yet, certain commonly held key values unify our efforts. We can summarize our CORE values using the following statements.
We believe that:
1. The BIBLE is the one true Word of God upon which all of our preaching, teaching, and church life is based.
2. All Christians have been given spiritual gifts from God to be discovered and cheerfully used to honor him and to serve others.
3. The CHURCH must be culturally relevant while maintaining biblical integrity.
4. GOD deserve excellence in all we do.
5. Reaching the lost in our local and world communities is accomplished by showing and sharing Christ's love.
6. We honor God by returning a tithe of all that he has generously given us.
7. Loving, Christ-centered relationships with Christ should be at the heart of every aspect - life-change happens best in small groups.
8. We grow in our relationship with Christ through worship, prayer, study of the Bible, and fellowship with other Christians.
